You Know Those Busy Moments

This is a sneak peek into a moment of my life last month.

Most days are not like this at all.  It is at those moments when I am intensely focused on a thought, an execution of a strategy, or when I’m trying to finish a project that someone might need something from me.  Or rather… several people, but I cannot really blame them.  I am the mom.

I have a lot of catching up to do this month.  I have around 10 challenge pieces to post so expect more this month.

This picture shows how I work on small projects.  I’m using Strathmore 18x24 Drawing Paper.  I divide the drawing space into 12 cubes.  I sketch an image inside of each cube and use different media.  Some sketches will turn into full works of art and some will remain sketches that I resketch inside of a program.

I don’t scan small works, I just take a photo of it.  I find that this is an easy way to get a lot of use out of paper and to practice different images.

I will bless the Lord at all times:

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:

The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the Lord with me,

And let us exalt His name together. ~Psalm 34:1-3 KJV
